Primary Healthcare Screening refers to healthcare services which focus on early detection and prevention of diseases and potential health problems. ILERA offers health screening, tests and prevention services at their Community Health Centres in Abuja and Funtua, Katsina State.

Malaria:
Rapid diagnostic tests for malaria (RDTs), antigen-detecting tests based on immunochromatographic methods, offering a quick diagnostic alternative for health professionals.
Pap Smear:
A pap smear involves a sample collection of cells being taken from the cervix to check for abnormalities and prevent cervical cancer. In Nigeria, cervical cancer is the third most common cancer and the second most frequent cause of cancer deaths among women aged between 15 and 44 years.
HIV testing:
Free HIV testing: If you know you HIV status you can protect your health and the health of your partner.
Blood Pressure Monitoring:
Blood pressure is the pressure of circulating blood against the walls of blood vessels. A blood pressure monitoring instrument will be able to take a blood pressure reading to determine if a person has a healthy blood pressure.
Blood pressure monitoring is used as a screening tool to determine if a person may have high blood pressure that could lead to additional health issues.
Glucose Monitoring:
Glucose monitoring involves a droplet of blood being placed on a specialised strip to measure the amount of sugar in the blood.
Glucose plays an important role in the body’s role to function, however high levels of glucose (sugar) in the blood can lead to other health issues, including diabetes.
Weight management/ Body Mass Index:
Screening is used to indicate if a person’s weight could lead to other health issues.
