About Us
ILERA is a Yoruba word meaning ‘Triumph in Health’. Our aim is to tackle systemic inequalities that prevent underserved women and girls from accessing healthcare, protection, and recognition and to improve thir health and wellbeing. We work with and for women and girls from displaced and rural communities.

ILERA community health centres offer access to primary care, sexual reproductive healthcare, health promotion and disease prevention programmes and training in a welcoming environment.
Our mission
ILERA Community Health Initiative ILERA is a women led organisation promoting through education and training, preventative and sexual reproductive healthcare, and wellbeing at the primary healthcare level in Abuja and underserved rural communities of Funtua, Katsina State.
